EMDR & Brainspotting
Think of these as a "system restore" for your brain.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) utilizes bilateral stimulation to "unfreeze" the emotional charge of past setbacks. It desensitizes the emotional charge of past experiences, fears, and negative self-beliefs (like "I'm not good enough" or "I must be perfect"). This clears the mental clutter that drains cognitive resources. By removing the fear, shame, or anxiety tied to the past, the executive frees up significant mental capacity and installs powerful, positive beliefs ("I am competent," "I can handle this"). This results in a rapid shift from avoidance and caution to clear strategic action and genuine confidence.
Brainspotting: Identifies specific eye positions that correlate with deep-seated performance blocks. It allows you to access and release "stuck" stress that the logical mind cannot reach, unlocking a state of mental agility and flow. The specific eye position (the brainspot) acts like a neural key, unlocking the area in the deep brain where the emotional material is held. Holding the gaze on this spot facilitates deep, focused subcortical processing. It quickly accesses and releases emotional and somatic blocks that the logical, verbal mind cannot reach. For executives, this means unlocking creative channels, rapidly resolving subconscious conflicts, and achieving higher states of presence and mental agility without extensive verbal analysis.
2. Regulate the System:
HeartMath & RRP
HeartMath: High-stakes environments trigger stress responses that cause Heart Rate Variability (HRV) to become erratic (incoherence), impairing the executive's ability to think clearly, maintain composure, and connect authentically with others.
HeartMath is a biofeedback training system that teaches executives techniques to intentionally shift their physiological state into Heart-Brain Coherence ,an optimal state where the heart rhythm is smooth and coherent.
